“I feel honoured to be joining a movement of such talented, committed women supporting women and girls around the world who face violence and discrimination. As long as we live in a world where women’s fundamental rights continue to be eroded, and their voices silenced, we stand in solidarity with them and amplify their voices.
I look forward to bringing their stories to the fore to ignite action and help secure new financial and other resources for our local partners.”
Laura started her career in publishing with BBC Studios and then Hachette Livre group before moving into the nonprofit world.
