We are running an urgent campaign to raise funds to support women experiencing the horror of gender-based violence and systemic discrimination. Your catalytic gift will support our Empowerment Fund enabling us to expand our support based on the needs of the vulnerable women we serve.

Violence against women and girls has been exacerbated by the pandemic and the global cost of living crisis, with 1 in 3 women experience physical or sexual violence in their lifetime. There is a global rollback of women’s rights with continued conflict and crises. Little progress has been made in ending violence against women and girls or in economically empowering women to realise women’s rights and gender equality. Astonishingly, less than 2% of global funding goes to gender equality or women.

Our vision is a future where there is safety and equality for all women and girls. The Circle raises funds and provides support to partners working on the frontline in their communities in the Global South and the UK. The funds we raise from this urgent campaign will support us to respond flexibly and efficiently wherever the need is greatest, grow our organisation and movement, and inspire more people so that women and girls can escape violence and become economically empowered.
